Story
Hello!
I’m doing a 6 day trek for a cause that's close to my heart, Arts Law's Artists in the Black program. Arts Law is the only community legal centre for the arts in Australia, and Artists in the Black is a specialised legal service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists that we provide all over the country. We provide legal advice, information and education about their rights so that Indigenous artists may gain financially from their artworks.
Artists in the Black stands up for appropriate recognition, protection and respect for Indigenous cultural and intellectual property, and helps Indigenous artists and creative organisations develop sustainable arts and cultural practices. Economic and cultural empowerment is fundamental to our work.
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Top End Challenge, trek for change, will bring together a team of 15 people for a 6 day trek/challenge through Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory to raise much needed money for Artists in the Black.
I'm trekking to raise much needed funds to keep Artists in the Black going and change the lives of the people we help. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
